Nozin® Nasal Sanitizer® is not a nasal spray or a nasal decongestant. Nasal Sanitizer is topically applied to the skin of the anterior nares, not to mucosal areas further into the nose. 

Saline and other nasal rinses are generally designed to wash the nasal passages and to help clear mucus.

Nozin® Nasal Sanitizer® antiseptic is used to kill bacteria on the skin of the anterior nares (nasal vestibule).  The nasal vestibule is an abundant reservoir of bacteria on the body. The use of the Nasal Sanitizer® antiseptic can contribute to good nasal hygiene.
